The Rules of Blackjack
Blackjack is a game that uses the sum of the cards in your hand to reach a winning hand of 21or as close to it as you can without going over. In the game of blackjack when a person goes over 21 it is called a Bust. The Blackjack dealer, deals 2 cards to each player the 1st is face down and the second is face up for all to see. The dealer will then deal himself 2 cards but both are face down and does not reveal them until all the players have received any cards they want, then the dealer will flip both his cards over. After everyone has been dealt their 2 cards the can choose to take more cards to help increase their hand to get to 21 in the order they were dealt.
After each Blackjack player has finished making there hands the dealer will turn his cards over. The dealer has a set of rules that determine when he can take a card and when he may not, if the Blackjack dealer has a hand of less then 16 he must take a card once he has a hand of over 17 he must stay.
In Blackjack the players are not playing against each other like in poker they are only playing against the Casino. after the dealer has finished making his Blackjack hand the winners are announced and are paid, and after new bets are placed the dealer will deal a new round.
