How to Play Roulette

Roulette is a casino game played with a little white ball, a numbered wheel and a table broken into 3 numbered grids. The grids and broken into 3 groups of 12. At the top there is a space for a single zero and a double zero if the table is an American Roulette table and just a single zero if it is a European Table.

A Roulette player has the option to bet on any single number or group of numbers on the grid. A player can also bet on which of the groups of 12 the ball will fall in, what color the number will be and if the number will be an odd or an even number. A player can bet on which of the 3 groups of 12 the winner will be in. in roulette you can also bet on what column the winner will be in.

When you first sit at a Roulette table in a casino you must purchase special colored Roulette chips. This is so several players can bet on the same number without people getting confused.

In Roulette you can place a chip on a number to bet on it between 2 numbers to bet on them both, in-between 4 boxes to cover all 4 or you can place you chip on the outside edge of a row of numbers to bet the whole row. Or you can play the outside of the table and bet what the winning color will be or if it will be an odd or even number at this point the dealer will drop the ball into the groove on the numbered wheel. The dealer will then wave his hands over the table and announce no more bets. At this point you just wait for the ball to fall out of the groove and onto a number the number the ball stops on is the winning number.
